These terms govern your use of the Verta desktop application, the Verta website at getverta.com, and any related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Readler Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 15915612) ("we", "us", "Readler"). Our current registered office address is available on the public Companies House register.
By downloading, installing, or using Verta, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Verta is a macOS desktop application that uses your Mac's webcam and Apple's on-device Vision framework to analyse your posture and provide feedback to help you correct slouching while working at a computer. No video, audio, or biometric data is transmitted off your device.
We offer a 3-day free trial with no card required - simply download Verta and use it. After the trial, the paid features lock until you activate a licence.
Verta is sold as a one-time purchase. Two licence types are available:
Your licence key is personal to you. You may not share, resell, or transfer it. We reserve the right to revoke licences used in breach of these terms.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT on our behalf. By purchasing you also agree to Paddle's terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
All purchases are one-time transactions. There is no recurring billing and no auto-renewal. You will not be charged again unless you choose to buy another licence.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on every purchase. See our Refund Policy for full details and your statutory rights under UK law.
You agree not to:
Verta, the Verta name, the getverta.com website, and all related materials are owned by Readler Ltd and protected by UK and international copyright and trademark law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service as described in these terms.
Verta is designed to run entirely on-device. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we do and do not collect.
Verta is a wellness and productivity tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. If you have persistent neck, back, or musculoskeletal pain, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Readler Ltd's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using Verta at any time by quitting the app. We may suspend or revoke your licence if you materially breach these terms, with reasonable notice where practicable; in cases of fraud or licence abuse we may revoke without notice.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the website or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence.
